Dad drove us 1.5 hours to Galilee in Narragansett Rhode Island to take the 1 hour ferry to Block Island. It was worth it!
In Galilee, the sea gulls are huge and make a mess! They do no discriminate but I suspect they find the cleanest vehicle to relive themselves. We parked as far away as we could from the building. Dad’s truck did not take any damage.
While on the island, the kids swam in the ‘real’ ocean…not the gulf coast. The water here was clear and cold.
