T minus 3 days….or is it T minus 2 days…either way, we leave on Tuesday!
We did finish fixing the leak in the roof thanks to Mike.
And thanks to my good friend Misty, I finished the very last curtain prior to me kicking my sewing machine to the curb. But apparently, it wasn’t the machines fault…it was mine or so my teacher told me.
Use more pins was my biggest down fall. More pins means less chance of the fabric slipping and sliding. And then there was the issue of me ‘pulling’ my fabric through the machine but I think I did that just because I’m ready for teh project to be completed.
Can you see how I constructed it? We won’t discuss how I was cutting my material…but by the time Misty came to my rescue, I had to cut three panels to sew together to get the width that I needed.
I finally finished it and Chi approves of the quality.
And here it is hanging up. This covers up the rear window.
Do you see the fancy light? Mike installed them. They are soooo much better than the old lamp. This one is dim-able and it includes a USB connection for charging.
Now to pack pack pack the RV so we can go go go!
BTW, I want to give a huge shout out to RV Trip Wizard. They have made planning this trip too darn easy! We paid a one time fee to use it all we want for a year. We set our driving radius to 4.5 hours and the website highlights the area. We find the direction we want to head, and it shows us all the parks in the area. It does not discriminate if we are a ‘club’ member but you can add that info (i.e. Sam’s club, 1000 lakes, KoA, etc). #rvtripwizard @rvtripwizard. Also, the website works on all devices (a little finicky on an iPad).
