  • Weedless in Seattle

This summer’s destination is the Pacific coast. Step one, get close. Rather than drive the Glovermobile through a week of desert, plains, and mountains, we opted to fly into Seattle.

We landed and spent the days walking around the city, using buses and light rail, and waiting to rent a car when we left the city.

So.. a few things…

  • Seattle folk love coffee. There is a coffee joint every few feet. Every 4th is a Starbucks.
  • Starbucks is OK to me… but not on this trip.
  • The coffee was pretty incredible in these cafes. It really was some of the best coffee I have had.
  • Weed smoke was everywhere.
My son scares off a seagull. It might have been smoking weed.

Now.. I do not have a problem with people smoking their leaf. But man.. it was everywhere.

My son watching jellyfish go around. They seemed pretty stoned.

In the street.. at the grocery store.. on the train.. it was just surprising to me how ubiquitous it was.

Anyway. I focused on coffee, my self-medicating drug of choice. Well.. that and Pokémon Go. Soo many pokestops!

HEY!.. get out of the road!
