We made our way down through Montreal and Toronto. Apparently Canada has lots of traffic too. Books on CD help pass the time.
Staying at a park on the WeGo bus route means getting down to the attractions on the river is easy. No driving, just riding and trying to hit the Pokestops on the way.
Our first adventure was the ‘behind the falls’. While the portals looking out through the falling water was beat, the vibration through the walls of the tunnel gave you a good sense of the power of the whole thing.
Because of the mist generated, it felt like it was sprinkling rain everywhere. It was really pleasant. It was like having a water mister installed everywhere.
The next adventure was the most impressive. It was the Hornblower boat that takes you down right in front of the falls. The rain poncho they give you is important, because you really do get soaked.
We saved the not-wet adventures for the next day. The Aero car takes you over a bend in the river which was really beautiful. It is really high up, but feels safe. The dude running the car did the expected tour stand up routine including ‘power outage’ and ‘hope you brought your passport’.
The last adventure was the butterfly conservatory. A nice low-key activity with a LOT of butterflies and a really great gift shop.
BTW.. Like every great park ride, everything here exits through the gift shop, ensuring you some quality parenting time to get through it. The last one had this in it.
I take it as a warning. Buy the merchandise or it’ll come for you.
