After Mount Pocono, we drove through New York state to land in Bozrah, CT at Odetah RV Resort. It was HUGE! Tons of people everywhere plus it was the 4th of July. We ended up staying in an area that is mostly used by tenters. The one next to us setup a window unit. Yes, really. An a/c window unit. Plugged into our 20amp plug (our RV uses the 30 amp). I don’t understand why bother camping in a tent if you are going to bring your a/c along. Especially to an area that cannot fry an egg in the sun (aka central Texas). Oh, well. Whatever.

As you can see, they used their table to prop up the machine. They sealed a tarp around the whole window as well as putting one over the tent since it did rain while we were here.

At this resort, not only did they have a splash pad plus a heated swimming pool, but a beach front on the lake. The kids had a blast. The water was nice and cool and refreshing. Oh, how I wish I could share this moment with my melting friends back at home.

Will went down the slide several times.
Beach at the lake.
Jill & Will had fun diving to find mussels.
Jill loved the slide.
Playing putt putt golf.
Jill doing a craft very seriously.
Will sewing to fix the curtain that he broke.
That is a big chair…must be from Texas.
Tall trees!
Ready to swim in the lake.
Jill lounging while reading.

Sign me up for the inflatable slide! I’d love an air conditioned tent too but… I wouldn’t want to cut a whole in my tent or lug it around. Interesting…
