So we’ve been busy as bees for the past couple of weeks. Yes, I too am hard at work.

We are finally done with the wall paper. Well, define ‘done’. We need to figure out the corners and quite frankly, it does not need to be completed prior to us leaving town. Therefore I declare it ‘done’!
I did finish the BIG curtain that separates the RV from the cab. It turned out quiet nicely.
As you can see from the left pic, the RV is a mess. Ugh! But we’ll get there.
Mike went up to the roof to take off the cover vent to the refrigerator. He suspected a leak was causing a black stain to appear on the roof of the shower. After much struggling with the rusty screws and old caulk, he as able to take the cover off which revealed the vent. As he proceeded to take off this next cover, I noticed a wasp nest.

I don’t understand how my husband did not see the nest as the wasps were looking directly at him deciding whether or not to attack. So as you can see from the picture, babies were were growing up to become stinging adults. It’s fascinating but they picked a bad location to setup their house.
Mike found one of the babies that had fallen out of the nest. Nature amazes me.
Yes, Mike did find the leak and it has damaged part of the roof between the fridge vent and the shower dome. We’ve treated the wood with bleach spray and letting the sun dry it out. Apparently the leak has been there for quite some time. The wood was still very wet. It hasn’t rained here since April 30th. I’m glad Mike found it and is fixing it.
